How to Make Zucchini Pasta

Step 3: Cook the Zucchini

Add the sliced zucchini to the skillet and season with salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes if desired. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the zucchini is tender and lightly golden.

Step 4: Combine the Pasta and Zucchini

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and gently toss it with the zucchini. Pour in a little of the reserved pasta water and continue tossing until everything is well combined and the pasta has a light, silky coating.

Step 5: Finish and Serve

Lower the heat and add the Parmesan cheese and lemon juice. Toss gently until the cheese melts and coats the pasta. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed, then sprinkle with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan before serving warm.
